If you happen to be a fan of traditional 'real-deal' Hot Rods, the way they built them back in the 40’s & 50’s, you will want to take a close look at the vehicle I am showing you here today.

Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this 1928 Ford Model A Sport Coupe, featuring it’s all original body, never repainted w/ all original style & patina. This is an ultra-cool Hot Rod that was built to drive & enjoy, while retaining that original look that harkens back to the early days of Hot Rodding & Racing. The original windshield & window frames were chopped to give it that stylish look, while basically everything else was left untouched. The all-original body has been sealed so that the original appearance will stay just like it is now, forever. She sits on 15” painted steel wheels with chrome beauty rings & chrome V8 logo dog dish hubcaps.

New tan cloth/vinyl seats were added to the interior, along with a matching rumble seat, as well as a new canvas top which looks absolutely beautiful on this Sports Coupe. The dash is largely original with (2) newer gauges added (fuel & temperature) to the original dash insert. Other features include new brown carpeting, custom stainless steel door panels, 32” Lokar shifter, a stylish red steering wheel, and a Kenwood KMM ST318U sound system with two boxed speakers in the rumble seat area. I was pleasantly surprised by the headroom & legroom inside this Hot Rod, as I am 6’ 1” 210 Lbs. and I fit comfortably with room to spare.

This 1928 Ford Model A Sport Coupe is powered by a Ford 255ci Flathead 24-bolt motor featuring: vintage Weiand valve covers, vintage Fenton 2x2 intake manifold, (2) Stromberg 97 carburetors, and custom wrapped exhaust pipes, all linked to a Ford AOD automatic overdrive transmission. It fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs & drives beautifully. It also has that distinctive Flathead sound that we all know too well.

In a world chock-full of flashy over-the-top Hot Rods loaded up with chrome & billet parts, it is truly a breath of fresh air to see a ‘real’ traditional Hot Rod with all original style & patina. You will be hard pressed to find a more original example of a ‘true’ American Hot Rod anywhere @ any price!
