1934 Chevrolet Master 5-Window Coupe

SOLD!

Have you been searching for a unique American Hot Rod, but all you can find out there are Fords, Fords and more Fords? Well, I think that we have just the car for you!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely beautiful 1934 Chevrolet Master 5-Window Coupe! This beautiful Chevy Coupe was restored/built in the mid-90’s, but it looks as though it was just completed this year. I have never seen an older build that is in such absolutely ‘pristine’ condition – ever! Artworks in Corona, California, performed the initial bodywork on the original 1934 Chevrolet steel body, at which time they did a 3” chop, filled the roof, and shaved the door handles. All new quality structured wood by David J. Entler Restorations was installed throughout the interior, and the beautiful PPG Betz Red paint was applied by Art Holling, which looks outstanding. If I didn’t know the history of this Coupe, I would think that the paint job was just completed this year. It has a lustrous shine throughout, w/ really no distractions whatsoever. It is blatantly obvious that this hot rod has been babied and meticulously cared for over the years in every single way. Other exterior features include: original 1934 Chevrolet steel hood, original 1934 Chevrolet grille, original 1934 Chevrolet steel running boards, fiberglass rear fenders, fiberglass rear panel (gas tank cover), all new glass by Mike Cox @ The Glass House, original 1934 Chevrolet headlights, 1939 Ford taillights, flush hidden antenna, and billet aluminum driver-side mirror. The bright red body sits on its original 1934 Chevrolet frame, which was boxed by California Street Rods. Chassis features include: Heidts Mustang II front suspension, custom rear suspension by California Street Rods, 1964 Pontiac Posi-traction rear-end (axles drilled for 4 ¾” bolt pattern), GM front disc brakes (drums in rear), rack & pinion steering, polished stainless-steel lines & plumbing, Rock Valley stainless-steel gas tank, GM power master brake cylinder, 4” Jet-Hot coated exhaust system w/ polished stainless-steel mufflers, etc. Please look at the chassis photos to see how beautifully detailed the undercarriage is from front to back. This Chevy Coupe also has a perfect stance, sitting on vintage Halibrand knock-off wheels (15” x 10” on the rear and 14” x 7” up front), wrapped w/ beefy BF Goodrich radial tires (P275/60/R15 on the rear and P195/60/R14 up front). You can walk around this car a hundred times and you will not find a bad angle, period.

Open the driver’s door and you will find an absolutely ‘spotless’ custom interior, that again was done in the 1990’s, but looks like ‘new’ and shows absolutely no signs of abuse. The interior/upholstery work was done by Ron Mangus @ Custom Auto Interiors in Bloomington, California. Interior features include: Cerullo bucket seats wrapped in grey leather & wool, matching grey leather & wool door panels, stock painted dashboard, full set of VDO Night Design gauges, GM tilt-steering column, 1969 Corvette leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows by Specialty Power Windows, Vintage air conditioning, Blaupunkt RPD A9000 AM/FM/CD sound system, Ron Francis Wire Works Kit, billet aluminum rearview mirror, (2) sets of grey seat belts, and grey wool carpeting throughout. Again, the interior is in absolutely amazing condition from front to back, w/ no signs of the usual scuffs, dings, scrapes, discoloring, etc. It simply looks like ‘new’ in every way, and is also extremely comfortable. The trunk area is as ‘spotless’ as the interior, dressed up in matching two-tone grey wool.

Powering this gorgeous ’34 Chevy Coupe is a GM ZZZ 350/345hp crate motor, lathered in polished billet & chrome components everywhere that meets the eye. Engine features include: 9.1 pistons, GM roller cam, finned billet aluminum valve covers, finned billet aluminum air cleaner w/ K&N filter, polished GM intake manifold, MSD Atomic Electronic Fuel Injection, polished GM alternator by ENOS, S&S headers, Taylor spark plug wires, Walker radiator w/ mechanical fan, etc. Please look closely at the engine photos to see how ‘ultra-clean’ and tidy everything is, including the perfect, unblemished firewall. The motor is linked to a bulletproof TH400 automatic transmission, which feeds power to the Pontiac Positraction rear-end w/ 3.55 gears. She fires up instantly w/ the flick of the wrist, and she runs, drives & performs beautifully in every way! This car is an absolute BLAST to drive, w/ enough power & torque to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand straight up. Around town you’ll find that she steers & brakes beautifully, and when you get her out on the freeway, she tracks straight & true.

After over 25 years of selling high-end classic cars, I have never seen a hot rod that was built in the 90’s look and perform the way this car does. The new owner will get a stack of original receipts and an album of photos that were taken during the build. Again, if you have been searching for a unique hot rod that will separate you from all of the Ford guys out there, you would be hard pressed to find a bigger bang for the buck than this absolutely beautiful 1934 Chevrolet Master 5-Window Coupe!
