Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely gorgeous, one-of-a-kind 1934 Ford Model 46 5-Window Custom Pickup, built by Dave’s Garage in Southern California. This mean little Hot Rod pickup has a look all its own and packs a wicked punch when it comes to performance. Features include: all steel bed, steel doors, louvered steel hood, and steel grille, w/ a custom built fiberglass cab & fenders. Countless man-hours were spent making sure that all of the body panels line up perfectly w/ precise gaps throughout. The truck was finished in the gorgeous shade of Apple Red Kandy w/ several layers of clear on top. The final results are simply stunning! The paint appears to be miles deep w/ a brilliant shine that literally explodes in the sunlight. All of the chrome, stainless trim, as well as the gold plated items such as door handles, door hinges, gate trim, taillight trim, fuel spout, headlight brackets, etc., are polished to shine beautifully. The headlights are painted black which add a wonderful contrast, and all of the glass is nicely tinted throughout. The truck bed is finished in beautiful oak wood which looks amazing against the Apple Red Kandy paint. She has a wonderful stance and sits on 15” polished Eagle Alloy wheels, wrapped w/ new BF Goodrich tires (P275/60/R15 on the rear & P215/70/R15 up front). You can walk around this truck a hundred times and never find a bad angle. The body sits on the original 1934 steel frame which is stamped with the original VIN on the frame rail. Chassis features include: Heidts Show Superride independent front suspension, Heidts chrome coilover shocks, 4-wheel disc brakes, 15-gallon stainless steel fuel cell, and complete dual exhaust system w/ gold plated tips (please look at the undercarriage photos to see how nicely everything is detailed).

Open the driver’s door and you will find a beautiful custom beige interior featuring: adjustable Cadillac leather seats w/ matching beige door panels & headliner, GM tilt-steering column w/ custom wood steering wheel, full set of gold-plated VDO gauges w/ gold-plated dash insert, gold-plated 20” lokar shifter, gold-plated emergency brake handle, gold-plated pedals, Vintage Air Conditioning w/ gold-plated vents, Alpine CDE-HD1498T Single-DIN Bluetooth Car Stereo w/ HD Radio-Premium LCD Display-SiriusXM sound system, and gold plated hardware throughout including control knobs, door handles, window cranks, etc. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc., are in perfect working order, the Vintage AC blows ice cold, and the Alpine sound system sounds great.

Lift up the hood flaps and you will find a custom built 383ci Stroker motor by Picks Racing Engines in Santa Ana, California, featuring a chrome Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, chrome Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor, billet serpentine system, custom stainless steel headers, etc. The motor is linked to a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission, which feeds power to an 8.5” Lincoln Zephyr rear-end w/ 2.74 gears. This ultra-cool pickup runs beautifully in every way. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and when it’s time to go, man does she go! You can imagine how quick this little pickup is w/ that 383ci Stroker motor up front, and the 4-wheel disc brakes help her stop on a dime. This truck is an absolute blast to drive and gets a ton of attention. She is titled as a 1934 Ford Model 46 ½ Ton pickup, so registration & insurance is absolutely no problem at all.
