1941 Willys Coupe Street Rod

SOLD!

When the terms ‘Hot Rod’, ‘Street Rod’ or ‘Gasser’ are used, chances are the first image that pops in your mind is the iconic 1941 Willys Coupe. There is just something about the body style and persona of the ’41 Willys Coupe that just screams cool. Well folks, feast your eyes on this absolutely beautiful 1941 Willys Coupe Street Rod. The build was just recently finished, having only 278 test miles, and is now ready to hit the road. Let’s start at the beginning. The ‘Street Beast’ fiberglass body is tubbed, it has a tilt front end and 3” was taken out off the hood height to give it a lower profile. Mini Cooper headlights were used and they really look perfect on this Willys. Of course, the door handles and deck lids were shaved for that super clean look. All of the body panels fit beautifully and the gaps look excellent. ‘Super Stripes’ out of Las Vegas Nevada did the paint work, finishing the Willys in a beautiful two-tone silver paint scheme using PPG Deltron 2000 ~ #4291 Medium Titanium & #32683 Silver Gray. You really have to see this Willys in person to get an idea of how beautiful the paint is. It literally explodes in the sunlight. When you pop open the door, you’ll find a beautiful Custom Bucket Seat Interior w/ 3-Point Retractable Seat Belts. Other interior features include: Custom Dash painted to match the body, full set of (8) Auto Meter Gauges, Ididit Chrome Tilt Steering Column, Chrome Steering Wheel, Billet Rear View Mirror, B&M Quicksilver Shifter, Power Windows, Custom JVC Sound System and Vintage Monster Trunk Air Conditioning System. The bucket seats can be adjusted to fit anyone from 5’ to 7’ tall. The interior is extremely comfortable, fully functional and is perfect for this ’41 Willys Coupe. Now, let’s get to the heart of this beast! Open up the tilt front end and you’ll find a GM ZZ572/620 hp crate motor w/ ominous looking black valve covers. A Complete Aeromotive Fuel System was used and is set-up for 1000 hp. The 572/620 hp motor is linked to a heavy-duty TCI TH400 Automatic Transmission (also set-up for 1000 hp) with a TCI 3500 Stall Converter and a 4 Link 9” Pro Street Posi Rear End w/ 3.78 Gears. She’s got Coil Over Suspension on the front & rear, Mustang II Rack & Pinion w/ 11” Power Disc Brakes on all four corners. This motor/trans combo is brutal and will snap your head back when you apply your right foot firmly. She starts, runs, drives, steers and brakes beautifully and is an absolute blast to drive. 'Street Rod Stuff' built the custom Aluminum Radiator w/ dual fans that keep her running cool even in hot Las Vegas weather. She’s got the perfect stance, sitting on Billet Specialties Wheels (18X12 on the rear and 17X8 up front) and Mickey Thompson Sportsman radials. Again, no other Street Rod has the image & persona of the 1941 Willys Coupe and this example has it all: incredible performance, maximum comfort and full reliability. Someone is going to get an awesome car for a fraction of what it cost to build. Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense.
