1946 Ford Hot Rod Kustom Coupe

SOLD!

You are bidding on a beautiful all-steel 1946 Ford Kustom Coupe Hot Rod! WOW, is the first word out of everyone’s mouth when they first lay eyes on this wild machine! The extensive two-year build was finished in 2011 and only 2650 miles have been clocked since its completion. The original 1946 Ford Coupe body was professionally chopped, channeled, shaved and dropped, and then finished in beautiful shade of Tangelo Pearl by House Of Kolor. The Gold Pearl ghost flames were then applied by hand, and the final result is nothing short of spectacular! The headlights are frenched as well as the radio antenna. It sits on top of a Lincoln frame and the fit & finish is perfection. I have never seen another Hot Rod that presents itself quite like this one does. The all-steel hood tilts open to reveal the potent 351 ci Cleveland powerplant w/ an Edelbrock intake, Holley 650 cfm carburetor, chrome Ford Racing valve covers, chrome brake booster, chrome alternator, billet serpentine system, dual fans and chrome or billet parts literally everywhere that the eye wanders. The entire firewall is chrome and has a mirror-like finish. There is a beautiful portrait of Marilyn Monroe that was hand painted under the all-steel hood. With a flick of the wrist, the 351 Cleveland motor fires up instantly and settles into a nice idle w/ the perfect rumble. The motor is linked to a Ford C4 transmission which send power to the Ford 9” rear-end w/ 3.50 gears. One of my favorite things about this awesome Ford Coupe is the fact that everything is FOMOCO. I have had my fill of Ford Hot Rods w/ Chevy motors! This 1946 Ford Coupe starts, drives, handles and performs beautifully with plenty of power & torque to spare. She runs nice & cool, even in very hot summer temperatures. The power steering & power disc brakes makes driving around town an absolute pleasure. When you get her on the freeway, she tracks perfectly straight w/ no vibrations, rattles or noises of any kind. I truly have to say that this is one of the finest driving 40’s era cars that I have ever had the pleasure to drive. She also has the perfect stance, sitting on 15” Billet Specialties wheels with Cooper Cobra tires (P265/50/R15 on the rear and P195/60/R15 up front). When you pop open the door and slide inside the custom deluxe interior, you will realize that not only does this Hot Rod have plenty of power, but she also has all of the creature comforts that anyone could ever ask for. Features include: beautiful white leather bucket seats w/ matching custom door panels, fawn carpet throughout, custom dash w/ full set of Auto-Meter gauges, chrome tilt steering column, Budnik billet steering wheel, power windows, Vintage AC & Heat, illuminating shifter knob, custom AM/FM/CD/DVD sound system w/ pop-out screen and ipod adaptor on console and 15” flat-panel television screen in trunk. All gauges, lights, blinkers, and power options work perfectly on this beautiful Hot Rod, as they should. The sound system sounds awesome and the Vintage AC blows ice-cold!
