1949 Chevrolet Kustom Pickup

This has to be the finest 40’s-era custom pickup that I have ever laid eyes on, period!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous custom-built 1949 Chevrolet Pickup owned by UFC Hall Of Fame fighter ‘Randy Couture’, or as many of you know him, 'Toll Road’, from the smash hit Motion Picture series ‘The Expendables’! Randy has always been into muscle cars, Hot Rods, etc. so when he called & told me that he was bringing his custom pickup to us, we knew it was going to be something special! Built from the ground up by Findlay Customs in Henderson Nevada, there were no corners cut & no stones left unturned during this long and very expensive build!

All of the original 100% rust-free sheet metal was sand blasted and prepped before applying several coats of PPG ‘Gun Metal Gray Metallic’ custom paint, which looks outstanding on this truck! The fit & finish is flawless w/ all body panels lining up beautifully. All of the stainless trim & bright work including the original grill are in show quality condition throughout! The Oak wood in the bed was stained in Gray to match the exterior paint, which looks incredible w/ the chrome slats. The body sits on an Art Morrison GT Sport Chassis, and includes Strange Performance adjustable coil-over shocks & springs, and Wilwood Performance Disc Brakes! This custom truck has the perfect stance, sitting on custom HRE 595RS Performance Wheels, 19” on the rear & 18” up front, wrapped with brand new Toyo Proxes ST tires (19x9.5 in the rear & 18x8.5 up front). You can walk around this truck a hundred times and never find a bad angle. The ‘Gun Metal Gray Metallic’ paint is stunning and literally explodes in the sunlight! Underneath you will find a beautifully detailed undercarriage with all new components throughout, including suspension, brakes, stainless steel exhaust system, stainless steel lines, fuel cell, etc, EVERYTHING is brand new!

Open the driver’s door and you will find a custom interior that is as aesthetically flawless, as it is comfortable & functional! Features include: custom two-tone Gray leather bench seat w/ blue piping, painted inner doors w/ custom inserts matching seat, original dash painted to match exterior, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, Ididit Tilt steering column, custom Grant steering wheel, 22” Lokar shifter, Vintage Air Conditioning & Heat, Custom Interior Lighting, Custom JL Audio System, Parrot Bluetooth System for Smart Phone & Audio, and on & on! You will find this custom interior to be extremely comfortable & highly functional, just what you want from a high-end custom pickup.

Under the hood you will find a new GM LS3 6.2L V8 motor, which produces 430hp, linked to a GM 4L60E automatic transmission w/ overdrive, which feeds power to a custom Adams Driveshaft & Strange Performance 9” Differential! The LS3 6.2L/430-hp motor has a fantastic combination of high technology & uncompromising performance. The LS3 comes complete with: the EFI intake manifold assembly with injectors & throttle body, exhaust manifolds, water pump, balancer, 58X reluctor wheel, and 14-inch automatic-transmission flex-plate. Inside, the GM LS3 6.2L motor is filled with components designed for high performance and longevity. The aluminum block is filled with a sturdy reciprocating assembly that combines with L92-type rectangular-port heads to deliver a 10.7:1 compression ratio. A high-lift, hydraulic roller camshaft delivers a whopping 0.551-inch of lift on the 2.16-inch intake valves and 0.522-inch lift on the 1.59-inch exhaust valves, enhancing the LS3’s tremendous airflow and broad torque curve. This gorgeous custom pickup starts, idles, drives & performs flawlessly, and is an absolute BLAST to drive! The Hooker block-hugger headers w/ custom stainless steel exhaust system sounds incredible! The custom-built one-off aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps it running nice & cool even in hot Las Vegas summer weather!
