This was the 2nd year for the Chevrolet Corvette with only 3640 units being produced, and all were optioned out exactly the same.

How many could possibly still be around in such original condition?

It is quite obvious that this ’54 Vette has been meticulously cared for & maintained throughout its life. The Polo White paint is in beautiful condition with no visible distractions anywhere. The grille, mesh guards on headlamps, and assorted bright work is in excellent condition as well. The original tan soft top is in very good condition w/ no tears, rips or blemishes anywhere. Sorry, but the original hard top is no longer present. The undercarriage is all-original and super-solid throughout, w/ no rust or signs of damage repair whatsoever.

The only item that is showing any real wear in the original red carpeting of course, but even that is in incredible condition for its age! The seats, door panels & matching kick panels are excellent, and the original steering wheel only shows a slight bit of wear. All of the original gauges are in working order, w/ exception of the clock. The trunk area is in beautiful condition throughout, and includes the factory glass side curtains, the original curtain pouch, w/ jack tools, etc.

Pop open the hood and you will find the original 235ci inline-six cast iron motor wearing its original (3) sidedraft Carter carburetors, linked to the original 2-speed Powerglide transmission. She starts, idles and runs beautifully and is a BLAST to drive! As far as performance goes, this motor is good for 150 hp & 223 Lbs./Ft. Torque, with 0 to 60 times in 11 seconds and quarter miles times of 17.9 seconds. Not exactly the fastest sports car in the world, but you certainly looked cool getting there!
