1954 Ford F-100 Extreme Custom Pickup

Custom-built by the ‘Speedtech Performance Shop’ in St. George, Utah, this truck has the perfect classic look paired w/ modern power and all of the modern amenities you could ask for. If you haven’t seen any of the amazing builds that come out of ‘Speedtech’, you’ll probably want to take note and start paying attention! This custom pickup was chosen as ‘Builders Choice’ @ Good Guys in 2020, and was featured ‘In Truckin’ Magazine’ as well. With only 750 miles on the clock since completion, she is still very fresh and has not been seen in public other than the one Good Guys show and the magazine feature.

It all began w/ an original 1954 Ford Pickup that was in excellent condition, and the client basically gave ‘Speedtech’ an open ticket to create something very special. We can safely say that they hit is straight out of the park! This truck has many custom features, that are unique to this build only, and countless man-hours were spent on the bodywork making sure that everything was perfect including panel alignment & gaps. Build features include: solid billet grill that emulates & updates the factory style grill, custom front & rear roll pans, recessed HID headlights w/ LED Daytime running lights, custom turn signals built into the grill, running boards were smoothed & raised 2.5” along w/ the rear lower front fender, rear fenders were raised on the box sides as well, which cleans up the lower body line & allows the truck to be lowered w/ the same ground clearance, front and rear windows were flush mounted for a much cleaner look, door windows were converted to power w/ custom one-piece glass, tinted-glass all around, KINDIG flush door handles, the box stake pockets were filled w/ custom transitions added to clean up the lines, inner wheel tubs match the contour of the outer widened fenders, smoothed tail gate (non-opening), custom stained maple bed floor w/ stainless steel slats, fuel-fill re-located to the rear fender, heavily customized sheet metal work in the engine bay including a smoothed firewall, and on and on. After the custom body work was completed, everything was lathered in BMW Rock Fish Blue paint, which looks outstanding on this truck!  She has a perfect stance, and rolls on beautiful Forgeline 5-spoke wheels (22” on the rear & 20” up front), wrapped w/ Toyo Proxes ST radial tires (335/25/R22 on the rear & 315/25/ZR20 up front). You can walk around this truck a hundred times and it looks absolutely perfect from every angle. When you take a peek underneath you will find features such as a powder-coated Speedtech Performance Extreme Chassis w/ Torque arm rear suspension and Ridetech Shocks, 3” custom stainless-steel exhaust system w/ Stainless Works mufflers, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes (13” 4-piston on the rear & 14” 6-piston up front), Ford 9” rear-end w/ 31 spline axles, and a Ricks Tank stainless-steel fuel cell.

When you open the driver’s door, you will find a beautiful custom interior designed for maximum comfort and functionality. Interior features include: Ford Mustang power bucket-seats w/ center console & Mustang factory shifter, leather/suede interior panels by Recovery Room Hot Rod Interiors, custom one-off black leather dash pad, LED interior lighting, Dakota Digital Gauges, tilt-steering column w/ Billet Specialties steering wheel, Vintage AC, Alpine iLX-507 Digital Multimedia touch-screen receiver w/ Alpine amplifier, Alpine speakers & Alpine 12” subwoofer,  custom tap-shift buttons on center console, in-dash USB port, billet knobs, billet door handles, (2) sets of seat belts and rich black carpeting throughout. Again, this beautiful interior is super comfortable, w/ all of the creature comforts you could want at your fingertips.

Pop open the hood, and the first thing that you’ll notice is the beautiful metal work that was done throughout the engine bay, which provides a super clean and elegant finish. Nestled inside is a new GM LT4 crate motor, which produces 650 HP w/ 650 Ft. Lbs/Torque, linked to an 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission. Other features include a Performance Rod & Custom radiator and heat exchanger, along w/ the remote transmission, power steering and oil coolers. This truck runs and performs beautifully in every way and is an absolutely BLAST to drive! I will assume that you can imagine what 650 horsepower and an 8-speed transmission feels like while driving this amazing machine. She is brutally fast through all eight gears and will impress even the most die-hard gear head!
