As one of the most iconic body styles ever created by American automobile companies, the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is certainly in the Top-3 list of all-time most beloved cars ever created in the USA. The 1957 Chevrolet was introduced by Chevrolet in September of 1956, for the 1957 model year, and was available in (3) series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range ’210’, and the base model ‘150’. Of all of the Tri-Five Chevrolets, the 1957 Bel Air will always be the top dog!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop, finished in its factory original color combination of Adobe Beige (Code 806), wrapped around the factory correct Adobe/Black/Copper interior (Code 674). This car is a real show-stopper folks! Fully restored to 100% factory specifications in 2005, this ’57 Bel Air has mainly been used as a show car, and has been meticulously maintained and cared for ever since the completion of the restoration. It now sits on our showroom floor here in St. George, Utah, in ‘collector-grade’ condition. All of the body panels are laser straight all the way around the car, and all of the panel gaps are precise. The Adobe Beige paint is in ‘excellent’ condition throughout, w/ no scratches, no dings and no distractions whatsoever. All of the chrome & stainless-steel trim is in show-quality condition from front to back. She sits on the original 14” steel wheels w/ original faux spinner hubcaps, wrapped w/ BF Goodrich Silvertown wide-whitewall radial tires (P205/75/R14). You can walk around this car a thousand times, and from the correct T3 headlights all the way to the massive fins in back, she looks absolutely perfect in every way!

When you pop open the driver’s door and crawl inside the factory correct Adobe/Black/Copper interior, you will think it is 1957 all over again. From the dashboard to the rear deck, and everything in between, it is pure perfection. All of the original gauges, lights, blinkers, Wonderbar radio, etc. are in perfect working order. Factory options include: power windows, power seat, and Autronic Eye automatic headlight dimming system. All of the interior chrome, dash trim, steering wheel horn & Bel Air emblem, etc., are in outstanding condition and look like ‘new’. Please look closely at the interior photos to see how lovely this interior truly is. The trunk area is fully restored as well, w/ the correct black rubber trunk mat, spare tire & jack assembly all in place.

When you walk up front and pop open the hood you will find the original 283ci Power Pack V8 motor lathered in correct Chevy orange paint, and featuring factory correct engine components throughout. This includes the original valve covers w/ 'Chevrolet' logo, original 4V Power Pack air cleaner assembly, original carburetor w/ the original glass fuel filter, original Delco Remy power steering unit, original radiator, original glass windshield washer reservoir, and on and on. The 283ci motor is linked to the original Powerglide automatic transmission, which feeds power to the original 3.36 rear-end. Even when cold, she fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs and drives beautifully in every way. The factory power steering & power brakes make driving around town effortless, and when you get her out on the freeway, she tracks straight & true.
