The top-of-the-line 1957 Chrysler New Yorker was one of the first models to get Virgil Exner’s revised ‘Forward Look’ design. Incredibly stylish at the time, and flat-out gorgeous today, there’s not a single line on the car that does not work. The harmonious blend of trim and sheet metal resulted in cars that were not 50's gaudy, but rather some of the most uniform and advanced of their time. With Hemi V8 power and luxurious interiors, they were more than a match for the over-styled Buicks and Oldsmobiles from GM, as well as the stodgy Lincoln Capri. This absolutely beautiful 1957 Chrysler New Yorker recently underwent an expensive restoration and the final result is simply outstanding. Finished in Frosty White & Regimental Red, this big fin classic is laser straight all of the way around the car and the paintwork is simply gorgeous. She sits on brand new Coker ‘American Classic’ white wall tires wrapped around a set of beautiful Kelsey Hayes chrome wire wheels.
