We @ Red Hills Rods and Choppers are very proud to bring to you one of the most rare Corvettes that you will ever have the chance to acquire. We know how selective avid Corvette collectors & enthusiasts can be, and the opportunity to own an ultra-rare example such as this does not come around very often. Please feast your eyes on this frame-off restored, numbers matching and heavily documented 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster 327/375 hp Fuelie, finished in its factory correct & new for 1964, (Code 940) Satin Silver Metallic. This uniquely optioned Corvette is very special indeed, and I will break down some of the ultra-rare options that will explain why. This numbers matching Roadster recently underwent a multi-year, no expense spared frame-off restoration under the guidance of Skip McCabe of McCabe Automotive Restoration in Mundelein Illinois. The entire process was completely documented w/ over $70,000 in receipts from the restoration. Countless hours were spent making sure that this ultra-rare 1964 Corvette Fuelie appears today as it did 49 years ago when she left the factory. The numbers break down as such: 22,229 Corvettes were built in 1964, 62.6% or 13,925 were convertibles (Roadsters). Only 12.5% (2,785) were finished in the new for 1964 color, Satin Silver Metallic. There were only 1,325 (Code L84) 327/375 hp Fuelies built, representing 6% of total production. This particular Fuelie is even more rare as it is a ‘380’ unit. The Muncie M20 4-Speed close-ratio transmission was only installed in 8,496 cars or 44.6% of total production. The Positraction Rear Differential (Code G81) was ordered on 18,279 Corvettes (82.2%) however, the rare 4.56 axle option only appeared in 641 cars or 2.9% of total production. Even more rare is the (Code P91) option, Blackwall Nylon Blue Dot tires, with only 1.7% or 372 cars leaving the factory equipped as such. If you combine these rare options: Silver Satin Metallic Roadster, 327/375 hp Fuelie w/ Muncie M20 4-Speed transmission, 4.56 Positraction Rear and Blackwall Nylon Tires, this beautiful Corvette could certainly be a (1) of (1). The exciting thing is that we have a plethora of original records and documents to prove that she left the factory w/ all of these ultra-rare options. This special 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster Fuelie was purchased on January 22, 1964 by Richard J. or Judith L. Broten @ Warren Biggs Chevrolet in Los Angeles California. ‘Original’ paperwork includes: the Original Auto Purchase Order, Original Conditional Sales Contract, Original Sales Invoice and (4) Chevrolet Corvette Form 200c, detailing the specifications and exact options order by the buyer. Again, this beautiful Corvette has been completely restored to factory specifications and less than 60 miles have been driven since completion. The (Code 940) Satin Silver Metallic paint is simply gorgeous and when you slide into the interior, you will swear that it’s 1964 all over again. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc. work perfectly. Even the original clock works like new. The original numbers matching 327/375 hp Fuel Injected motor runs extremely well and has loads of power & torque, especially when combined with the original numbers matching Muncie M20 4-Speed transmission and the factory correct 4.56 rear axle. She wears the correct factory Black Nylon Blue-Dot tires wrapped around the super-rare 1964 factory slotted wheel covers. This is an investment grade Corvette if there ever was one, and will only appreciate in value as the years go by. The original documentation proves this to be an ultra-rare example of a very desirable Corvette. You simply cannot go wrong investing in a classic car of this stature. Do not hesitate, as these cars do not become available often. Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense.
