Are you looking for some extra fun this summer? Do you enjoy it when your heart races so fast that you can hear it in your ears? Well I’ve got just the right new toy for you! Feast your eyes on this super-cool 1965 Backdraft P51 Cobra, one of only (4) built with the P51 Mustang fighter plane theme, and one of only (6) built with the Rousch Supercharged 4.6L P51 V8 engine pushing 629 horsepower! Does it sound like fun so far? This gorgeous P51 Cobra is finished in the Mustang fighter plane color combo, Vapor Silver w/ Olive Green stripe, and features black ceramic-coated side pipes / trim. The paint is absolutely flawless and it should be, as this P51 Cobra has only 292 miles since the build, so you are basically getting a brand new car. Again, they really hit the mark with the fighter plane paint scheme and the 17” matte black knock-off wheels round out the perfect look and really give this Cobra that ominous presence. The gorgeous interior features black & tan suede/leather seating w/ P51 embroidery, carbon fiber dash (signed by Jack Rousch) w/ Moll aviation style gauges, wood steering wheel, factory installed cockpit heater and Crow Enterprises 4-point racing harnesses. She’s also got a leather snap-on tonneau cover and a custom built soft-top w/ side covers for those rainy days. OK, now let’s get to the heart of this beast. Lift the hood and nestled inside is the aluminum Rousch Supercharged 4.6L P51 V8 engine, painted Olive Green to keep with the P51 image. The engine is linked to a Tremec TKO-600 5-speed transmission and a limited slip rear end w/ 3.64 gears. This Cobra is insanely fast and the Wilwood brakes (6-piston calipers on the front and 4-piston calipers on the rear) will slow you down in a hurry. She rides on BMW E36 independent front & rear suspension w/ front coil overs. This P51 Cobra starts, idles, runs, drives, steers and brakes beautifully and again, she is extremely fast and very well balanced! The power steering makes driving around town an absolute pleasure. The aluminum Rousch supercharged engine has loads of torque and will snap your head back while shifting through the gears. These Cobras are some of the fastest cars in the world so if you have never driven one, you are in for quite a surprise. Again, with only 292 miles since the build, this P51 Cobra is basically brand new. She’s titled as a 1965 Shelby Cobra so registration and insurance should be quite easy. Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense.
