1966 Chevrolet Nova SS 327/350 L79

SOLD!

Some of the fastest appreciating cars in the classic car market are the 1966-1967 Chevrolet Nova SS cars, which have literally taken on a life of their own in the last 12-18 months. The mean little Chevy II’s are finally getting the respect they deserve and have become a must-have for any serious muscle car collector. The incredible 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS 327/350 L79 that you are looking at still wears 90% of its original (Code C-C) Ermine White paint, and looks so good that it’s nearly impossible to believe that it has never been fully restored. Combine that with a completely restored factory correct (Code 756 B) Red Bucket Seat Interior w/ Console, and you have what is arguably the most beautiful color combination available! Now add the 327/350 hp L79 motor and Muncie M20 4-Speed Transmission and you certainly have one of the most desirable Nova SS cars available anywhere at any price! The original paint is beautiful, with a slight amount of checking which you’ll have with any 47-year old paint, but still shows incredibly well. All of the chrome & stainless trim is either brand new or completely restored, and is show quality throughout. When you slide into the interior, you will swear that you are sitting in a brand new Nova SS on the showroom floor back in 1966! The Red Bucket Seat Interior is absolutely flawless from front to back and in completely stock form. The only upgrade is the Sun Super Tack II mounted on the steering column, which is easily removable if you choose to do so. The chrome console and all of the interior chrome accents are MINT, and everything appears to be showroom fresh from the headliner to the carpeting. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc., work perfectly. Even the original AM Radio sounds great and the lighter pops out hot! You will not find a finer interior on a 1966 Chevy II, anywhere! Open the hood, and nestled inside the detailed engine bay resides the 327/350 hp L79 V8 motor, linked to a Muncie M20 4-Speed Transmission which feeds power to the 12-Bolt Rear End w/ 3.55 gears. The motor & transmission were completely rebuilt during the partial restoration, at which time the block was decked, so the pad no longer reflects the suffix code. If this block had not been decked, and had the correct suffix code on the engine pad, we would be asking six-figures all day for this car. She starts, idles and runs beautifully and is very FAST! She performs like an L79 should, pulling hard through all four gears with no hesitation whatsoever. The Muncie M20 shifts crisp and smooth, just like you want it to, and the power steering makes driving around town effortless. Simply stated: she’s an absolute BLAST to drive and will get you more than your fair share of attention! She sits on her original 14” steel wheels w/ SS hubcaps and Firestone E70-14 Redline Tires, just like she did 47 years ago. If you are a true Chevy II fanatic, and have been searching for just the right example, with the perfect color combination and the hottest powerplant available in its day, you have found your car! It doesn’t get much cooler than this 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS 327/350 L79. Do not hesitate because she will not last long. Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense.
