1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring

SOLD!

Every once in a while, a hand built Resto-Mod Muscle Car will come around that literally takes my breath away. Such is the case with this outstanding 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring street machine. It took nearly two years to complete the build and only 187 miles have been clocked to work out any bugs there may have been. She is now ready to win First Place trophies at any national level car event or drag strip. It’s hard to know where to start with a car that has over 200K invested in its creation, but here goes. The body itself is a masterpiece of sheet metal work, with laser straight panels all of the way around the car. All of the gaps are perfect. Dupont paint was used and the color is called ‘Ink Black’. It is the darkest, deepest black that I have ever seen. ‘Red Satin’ stripes were then applied with a coat of clear over them. The gloss black and matte red paint combination really look outstanding on this car. The rear end was tubbed to accommodate the massive Mickey Thompson wheels & Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires (15X20 on the rear & 7X18 up front). Other features include: Heidts Pro-G front end w/ power rack & pinion steering, Heidts frame connectors bolted at the front and welded to the rear frame, Alston Fab 9 rear end w/ ladder bars and coil overs, custom smoothed firewall, 6-point roll cage, PRC aluminum core support and PRC large capacity radiator w/ (2) automatically controlled 16” fans, 2” steel cowl hood w/ built-in custom K&N filter, Fesler billet hood hinges, custom made fuel cell w/ Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, frame mounted fuel filter & return line, fuel safe sending unit and on and on. Open up the hood and you will find the heart of this beast, a GM Performance ZZ 572/620 hp motorw/ painted block to match the exterior, polished intake & heads, powder-coated valve covers that match the block, Milodon oil pan, March Revolver pulley system w/ high output alternator, custom built air intake w/ filter built in cowl opening, Dynatech 2 1/8” Headers w/ 3.5 collectors and ceramic coated oval pipe exhaust w/ series 40 Flowmaster mufflers. This massive power plant is linked to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission built to handle 800 hp w/ a 1500 stall converter and a Strange 9” Ford third member w/ 3.73 gears. To stop this animal, there are Wilwood Disc Brakes on all four corners w/ 7/8 Wilwood Master & proportioning valve. All of the brakes lines are frame conforming, custom-bent w/ braided steel in flex areas. This incredible 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring car starts, idles, runs, steers and brakes perfectly. To say it has a lot of power would be a gross understatement. It’s an absolute rocket ship and sounds like nothing I have ever heard.
