Vintage American trucks are more popular than ever, and none are more desirable than the 1968-1972 Chevrolet C10 pickups. If you have been searching for a classic pickup that will separate you from all of the rest, then I think we have just the truck for you!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1968 Chevrolet C10 Stepside Resto-Mod Pickup! This truck was built to drive & enjoy, and although it can win ‘First Place’ awards for its overall appearance, it can be driven and enjoyed to the fullest. Before the restoration/build began, this original 1968 Chevrolet C10 had never seen rust in its life, and has never been wrecked or damaged in any way. It retains its original all-steel OEM body that was in excellent condition from the get go. All of the original sheet metal is super straight all of the way around the truck, w/ precise gaps throughout. After the body work was done, the truck was then lathered in 2-stage base/clear Torch Red paint, which has a brilliant shine and looks amazing on this pickup. The chrome bumpers, stainless steel trim, and rubber weatherstripping is all brand new. The trim around the hood and front fenders is original, so there are a few very small dings along the edges, which are only noticeable up close. The aftermarket trim from China never fits right, so it was decided to leave them as is. Brand new LED headlights were installed up front, which really light up the road nicely. The bed area features custom walnut wood panels, w/ chrome slats, which looks absolutely beautiful. This truck also has just the right stance, and rolls on 20” polished aluminum Rocket Racing Wheels, wrapped w/ Falken Ziex S/TZ-05 All-Season radial tires (275/45/R20). Please view all of the exterior photos closely to see how beautiful this truck looks from every angle. Chassis & handling upgrades are numerous, including: Belltech Suspension, CPP modular drop spindles, CPP tubular control arms, CPP tubular trail arms, CPP front sway bar, CPP track bar, relocated aluminum fuel cell, and CPP 4-wheel big-brake kit (drilled, slotted and powder-coated). Needless to say, handling & drive-ability are greatly improved due to these extensive upgrades.

Open the driver’s door and you will find a beautiful black bucket-seat interior w/ console that is mostly factory stock in appearance, but has all of the right upgrades. Interior features include: OEM black bucket-seats (dual-heated) w/ OEM console, painted door panels w/ matching black vinyl inserts, Dakota Digital customizable digital/analog gauges, Flaming River tilt-steering column, wrapped billet flat-bottom steering wheel, Vintage Air Conditioning w/ billet AC vents, Alpine Audio system w/ speakers/tweeters mounted on the door panels & two 8” subwoofers, R&B original-style AM/FM/USB/Bluetooth receiver (includes Voice Command w/ iPhone and/or audio stick connection in glove compartment), American Autowire Harness, billet door handles & window cranks, billet dress-up pedals, and black loop carpeting w/ matching floor mats. This interior is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable and highly functional in every way.

Now, let’s get to the heart of this beast, shall we?

Pop open the hoop, and nestled inside the beautifully detailed engine bay resides the Skip White 427ci SBC dyno-tuned motor, which produces 507hp, w/ 534 Ft. Lbs./Torque. The motor is linked to a 4L80E overdrive transmission w/ PTC torque converter (including additional cooler & fans), which feeds power to the asphalt-shredding Eaton Truetrac positraction rear end w/ 3.73 gears. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs, drives and performs beautifully in every way. This truck is an absolute blast to drive, and is extremely fast! She is super-solid, w/ no rattles, squeaks, or unwanted noises whatsoever. If you don’t like attention, then this is not the truck for you, as everywhere you take this custom pickup, a crowd will gather around immediately w/ folks snapping photos on their smart phones.
