1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS

SOLD!

Certain muscle cars have that eye-popping effect the first time that you lay eyes on them, and certain color combinations seem to get the heart racing quickly, and make it so you can’t take your eyes off the car. That is exactly how I felt when I first saw this absolutely beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS finished in its factory correct ‘special paint code’ Rally Green w/ white hockey stripes. This color combo is so indicative of what we loved about that late 60’s era muscle cars. This gorgeous Camaro was built in Van Nuys California, and was sold new in Medford Oregon, where it spent most of its life. The restoration was just recently completed, and while this car was restored to drive, it also has show car qualities that can’t be denied. The body was taken down to bare metal and completely disassembled. All of the sheet metal is original to the car, including floors, trunk pan, etc. The bodylines are spectacular and the gaps are excellent. The Rally Green paint is gorgeous and as I state earlier, eye-popping! The white hockey stripes were painted on, and are not decals. All of the chrome is brand new including: bumpers, front grill, hood louvers, wheel mouldings, rocker mouldings, window trim, mirrors, wiper arms, etc. The trunk was splatter painted w/ the correct factory aqua/black paint and covered w/ the correct floor mat. The interior was also taken down to metal and fully Dynomatted before reassembly. The correct black bucket seat interior is beautiful and features brand new seats, console, headliner, gauges, Ididit 8-point tilt steering column, vents, emblems, door panels, rubber, sill plates, factory AM radio, speakers, etc. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, radio, everything works like new. Now lets get to the heart of this machine. Originally a small-block Camaro, it was decided to drop in a brand new balanced & blueprinted ZZ383 Crate Motor w/ 425 hp! Engine features include: aluminum heads, Edelbrock Air-Gap intake manifold, Edelbrock 750 cfm carburetor w/ electric choke, MSD ignition, Hedman ceramic coated headers, chrome valve covers, chrome air-cleaner, new aluminum 4-core radiator w/ electric fan, billet pulleys, chrome alternator and hi-torque starter. The potent 383 ci motor is linked to the original rebuilt Muncie M20 4-Speed transmission, which feeds power to the completely rebuilt 12-bolt Posi rear end w/ 3.31 gear ratio. Everything underneath was rebuilt or replaced including bearings, bushings, shocks, etc. and a Hotchkis front & rear suspension was added w/ a 2” drop in front for that aggressive stance. The entire brake system is brand new including factory correct booster, master-cylinder, all brake lines, proportioning valve, etc. All of the fuel lines on the car are also brand new. This beautiful Camaro starts, idles, runs, drives, steers and brakes beautifully in every way! She has tons of power & torque and is an absolute BLAST to drive! She also sounds incredible w/ brand new 2 ½” aluminum exhaust w/ cross pipe and dual Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers! A brand new set of 15” Rally Wheels and BF Goodrich tires were just put on the car last week. Only 835 miles have been driven since the restoration was completed, so you are basically getting a brand new car. The new owner will get 100’s of photos of the restoration process, as well as over $65,000 in receipts! Whether you are looking for a classic muscle car to drive & enjoy, or win trophies at any car event that you decide to enter, this outstanding 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS is the car to own! Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense.
