1971 Chevrolet Nova 427 COPO Recreation

SOLD!

I’ve been selling classic cars & muscle cars for a very long time, and I can safely say that this absolutely beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Nova 427 COPO recreation is one of the coolest, meanest and most ominous looking specimens that I have ever laid eyes on! The gentleman who built this Nova had always dreamed of creating the ultimate Chevy II, with a look & stance that was undeniably wicked, a muscle car that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand straight up. He succeeded with lying colors! Red Hills Rods and Choppers is very proud to offer you this gorgeous 1971 Chevrolet Nova muscle machine, finished in a perfect Gloss Black paint job wrapped around a no nonsense Black Vinyl Bench Seat Interior. This Nova is a true ‘sleeper’ in every sense of the word. The body panels are laser straight, far nicer than they left the factory back in 1971, and the Gloss Black paint looks wet, and seems to be a mile deep. The body was brought down to bare metal, prepped & painted w/ Omni Base Coat 8555, then cleared w/ Sickens M/S Clear. I have never seen a Chevy Nova with such perfect body & paint work. The bumpers and all stainless trim, is new & show quality throughout. Open the driver’s door and you will find a fresh new interior including: new headliner, new seat covers, new door panels, new dash, new Hurst Shifter, etc., and everything looks correct, factory stock and basically perfect. The original gauges consist of the speedometer and fuel gauge, which both work perfectly. No aftermarket gauges Temperature & Oil Pressure have been installed, but if the buyer prefers to have them installed under the dash, this would be no problem for us to do. Again, this is a no-nonsense muscle car that was built to be one thing: MEAN! Now let’s get to the heart of this beast, shall we? Open the hood and inside the nicely detailed engine bay resides a Big Block Chevy built to kick ass! Driveline features include: 454ci Chevy motor w/ a 396 crank bored 0.30, 427 Dome Pistons (11.1 Compression), Erson Cam L88 Specs, Pro Comp Aluminum Heads, Pro comp 1.7 Roller Rockers, Weiand Stealth 2.2 Intake, 1.8 Exhaust Valves, Holley 800cfm Double Pumper, Super Comp Headers w/ 3” Exhaust & Flowmaster 40 Mufflers, Muncie M20 4-Speed Transmission, New Pressure Plate, 11” Clutch & Throw Out Bearing, 10-Bolt Posi Rear Axle w/ 4.11 Gears, All New Bearings, Gears & Seals, etc. Let me state right now for the record, this Nova is not for the faint of heart, as this motor was built to go, go, GO! She starts, runs, drives & performs beautifully and is a BLAST to drive! The 3” exhaust system sounds absolutely amazing! This is a car that you can drive to the drag strip on the weekend, put some Cheater Slicks on, win a few trophies and drive back home. You can also enter it into any car show and most likely win a ‘First Place’ award for most beautiful muscle car. Again, it is one of the finest looking Novas that I have ever laid eyes on. The painted steel wheels w/ dog-dish hubcaps and new Firestone F70-14 Redline tires really add to the ‘sleeper’ image. This 1971 Chevrolet Nova 427 COPO recreation should be in magazines, and I suggest that the new owner try and go that route. Look at the photos closely and decide for yourself. She’s a real stunner with the perfect look & stance. Someone is going to get a real mean muscle machine! Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense.
