This iconic SCJ Mustang was never raced or abused in anyway in its entire life. All of the original sheet metal is properly stamped and is laser straight all around. The correct (Code I) Grabber Lime Ford #5001-A PPG Vibrance base/clear paint is perfect and mirror-like. When you open the driver’s door and slide into the perfect factory correct (Code 5R) Green Clarion Knit/Corinthian vinyl bucket seat interior, you will swear that it’s 1971 all over again. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, AM radio, lighter, etc. work perfectly. Open the hood and you immediately notice how beautifully detailed everything appears, complete w/ correct OEM Autolite components and Motorcraft battery. Nestled inside is the original numbers matching J-Code 429 SCJ Ram-Air motor linked to the original numbers matching U-Code C-6 3-Speed Automatic Transmission which feeds power to the original 3.91 Traction-Lok rear axle. Roger’s Crankshaft & Machine dynoed the motor @ 391hp w/ 443 Lbs./Ft. Torque. This Mach 1 starts, runs and performs beautifully in every way and is very FAST! She’s got loads of power & torque and is an absolute BLAST to drive! She steers & brakes like a brand new car.
