Only (830) 280 SL’s were produced in 1971, which puts this car in the scarce category!

This classic Mercedes-Benz convertible has been meticulously maintained & cared for since new and it really shows! It is also a rare factory 4-speed car w/ factory air conditioning, which is obviously quite desirable. A mild cosmetic restoration was performed several years back, which included a professional paint job in Signal Red, which looks incredible. Both tops (hardtop & soft top) are in excellent condition and are included in the sale.

Much of the interior is original and in outstanding condition throughout. All of the original gauges, lights, blinkers, air conditioning, etc., are in perfect working order.

Under the hood resides the original 2778 cc 6-cylinder fuel-injected OHC motor, which produces 180hp, linked to the original 4-speed manual transmission.
