1996 Harley Davidson FLSTN Heritage Nostalgia Custom
‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very excited to offer you this absolutely gorgeous one-of-a-kind 1996 Harley Davidson FLSTN Heritage Nostalgia. The 1993-1996 Harley Davidson FLSNT Heritage Nostalgia motorcycles have always been some of my favorite bikes that Harley Davidson ever created, and I have owned at least ten of them over the years. I purchased this motorcycle back in 2011 w/ only 415 original miles on the clock. I simply had to have the bike, as it was 100% bone-stock including the original tires, and absolutely ‘flawless’ from front to back. I stored it @ my temperature controlled home garage until I could decide which way I wanted to go w/ the bike.
Earlier this year, I decided that I wanted to do some mild customizing, but without doing anything that would stop me from being able to put it back to 100% original condition anytime that I chose to do so. At 57 years of age, I much prefer the old-school look that I have loved since my early teens when I first started riding street bikes. All of my Harleys have always had the same type of look, so I decided to change the look of this perfect ’96 Nostalgia as well. A list of features includes: chrome lower forks, chrome upper forks, chrome axle caps, chrome fork tins w/ chrome fork slider covers, chrome front fender trim, running lamps w/ yellow bulbs, Paughco 14” ape-hangers, chrome clutch lever, chrome brake lever, 3” chrome mini-mirror, black coke-bottle rubber grips, Mustang solo-seat (specifically for the FLSTN), Kuryakyn bullet-style rear turn signals, chrome rear fender trim, & Kuryakyn curved lay-down license plate frame. To make her run the way I liked, an S&S free-flow air-cleaner kit system was installed, along w/ a set of Paul Yaffe SuperTrapp 2” chrome Road Legend exhaust pipes, which look outstanding on this bike. We lowered the rear-end down 2”, which gave it just the right stance and tucked the rear fender down nicely over the rear tire. All of the factory original parts are in absolutely ‘perfect’ condition and will go to the new owner. Again, EVERY single piece that was removed, including the original windshield, original leather seat(s) & original leather saddle bags, have been nicely packed away and will go to the new owner if they choose to bring the bike back to 100% stock form. The original tires are still on the bike and are in ‘perfect’ condition as well.
This 1996 Harley Davidson FLSTN Heritage Nostalgia runs flawlessly in every way, looks absolutely incredible, sounds amazing, and has only 494 original miles since new. The bike is simply ‘perfect’ from front to back and from side to side. I have included a couple of photos that were taken the day before we started the mild custom work so you can see her in 100% stock form. If you wanted to return the bike to bone-stock condition, you could easily do so at any time, but it just looks so damn good that I’m thinking you will leave it as is. As I said, I have owned at least ten ’93-’96 FLSTN Nostalgia bikes, and I truly feel that this bike came out the best by far. With only 494 miles since new, it is basically a ‘brand new’ bike in every respect. The factory original Owner’s Manual is included. I really hate to see her go but there are always other projects that will keep me very busy.
