2004 Chevrolet SSR Custom

Feast your eyes on this absolutely gorgeous, fully customized 2004 Chevrolet SSR that was built for the late Danny Gans, master impressionist and top entertainer (13) years in a row in Las Vegas! Everyone lost a world-class talent when Danny passed away in May 2009, and this one-of-a-kind, supercharged 2004 Chevrolet SSR is one of (27) cars that Danny had in his wonderful collection. “SSR” means "Super Sport Roadster", and it goes from hardtop to roadster at the touch of a button. Under it's unique steel skin is a frame based on that of Chevy's mid-sized SUV, with an aluminum-block 5.3-liter version of the current "small block" V8 to provide the appropriate power and rumble. For this type of vehicle, styling is paramount, and the SSR designers absolutely nailed the retro-meets-contemporary custom look! Inspiration came from the 1947 through 1953 Chevrolet trucks, which with its rounded hood & fenders, has strong ties to the streamline & art deco movements of the 1930’s. Danny always loved the Chevrolet SSR but wanted one that was unlike any other on the road and he wanted it to be fast! He wanted it to be a special, one-of-a-kind car built just for him. Russ Gerner Designs was chosen to do the work and the final result is simply outstanding! A list of modifications and custom items includes:Wipple Supercharger increasing horsepower from the stock 300 hp to approximately 445 hp, custom roll pan that eliminates the exhaust ports entirely, Flow Master mufflers w/ hidden exhaust tip, running boards completely smoothed out and color matched, color matched door handles, headlights / taillights / marker lights were smoked w/ black candy tint, chromed factory wheels, chromed grill bar, chromed hood emblems, ceramic grade window tinting, shaved rear tailgate emblems, interior completely removed and sound-proofed w/ Dynamat, custom made German leather seat inserts w/ red stitching and the factory stereo system was upgraded with hidden amplifier & speakers. The final touch was a very expensive Black Amethyst paint jobw/ old school flames that go from bright yellow into a fire-orange w/ airbrushed edges and purple pin-striping to set it off. The SSR turned out exactly how Danny had hoped and he loved nothing more than cruising Las Vegas in this beautiful machine. With only 2615 original miles on the clock, someone will be getting a gorgeous 2004 Chevrolet SSR Custom that has barely been broken in. She's in mint condition from front to back and from top to bottom! When Danny took delivery of his new customized SSR, he signed the radiator support and that signature still exists today (see photos). This ultra-cool 2004 Chevrolet SSR Custom is an absolute blast to drive! It is super fast and will get you plenty of attention, I promise. It looks awesome with the top up or down and again, there is not another SSR on the road quite like this one. The (2) optional cargo boxes, the original Owners Manual and the free & clear title (titled in Danny Gans name) will all go to the new owner.
