2005 Ford GT

SOLD!

There has not been another American sports car in the last generation that has grabbed the attention of collectors worldwide quite like the Ford GT. From the moment the first of these custom-built cars were delivered in late 2004, the Ford GT set the supercar world on its ear w/ its supercharged 550 horsepower V-8, 205-mph top speed and exotic styling inspired by the historic Ford GT-40 race cars. An ultra-high performance, mid-engine, two seat sports car w/ an aluminum space frame chassis, aluminum body panels and a contemporary interior, the Ford GT showcased the engineering prowess of the Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT) and will forever stand as among the most memorable cars ever produced in Ford's 100-plus year history.

Red Hills Rods & Classics' is very proud to offer you this absolutely perfect investment-grade 2005 Ford GT finished in Centennial White w/ Blue stripes wrapped around a gorgeous Ebony Leather interior, and only 240 original miles since purchased new! As you know, Carroll Shelby played a major part in the design of the original Ford GT-40 cars, and I have always felt that the Ford GT always looks the best dressed in Shelby's colors. This stunning example left the Wixom Assembly Plant on July 7, 2005, sporting all four available factory options, which include: McIntosh AM/FM Stereo w/Single CD Player, Light Weight Forged Aluminum Wheels, Gun Metal Grey Painted Brake Calipers, and Painted Racing Stripes. She is #1372 of a total build of 2022, and #342 of 504 manufactured in Centennial White. From a collector's standpoint, it would be nearly impossible to find a finer example anywhere in the world @ any price, period! From the day she was purchased brand new on December 6th, 2005, @ Garnsey & Wheeler Ford in Greeley, Colorado, this perfect Ford GT has been meticulously cared for and absolutely pampered in every way. Only recently purchased from the original owner, the majority of the super-low 240 original miles has come from taking her out several times a year for exercise. Overall condition is ‘AS NEW' throughout! She has been kept in a climate-controlled facility since day one and has never seen a drop of rain in her life. The Centennial White w/ Blue Stripe exterior has a deep lustrous shine throughout w/ NO scratches, NO blemishes, and NO distractions whatsoever. The white stickers & yellow grease pen markings are still on the windshield from the factory.

The Ebony Leather interior has barely been sat in and looks ‘factory fresh' from front to back w/ the original protective tape still on the door sills. Billet seat inserts were installed, which in my opinion really makes the interior come alive (the original black inserts are wrapped up nicely and will go w/ the car). The front trunk area has never been used as you can see in the photos.

When you raise the rear panel you will find a flawless engine compartment that also looks ‘factory fresh' throughout, just as a 240 original-mile car should. Again, I can't imagine finding a finer example of a 2005 Ford GT anywhere! Every single piece of factory original documentation from day one is present and will go to the new owner, including: original window sticker, original owner manuals, original hang tags, Ford Letter of Authenticity, original dealership contract of sale & sales documents, Marti Report, original car cover, and much more! Also included is a large framed 2005 Ford GT promotional display, and (2) large photographs of the original Ford GT-40 cars on race day @ the ‘24 Hours of Le Mans' in 1966, where they came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

As I am sure you realize, these 2005-2006 Ford GT's have become extremely collectible and are the centerpiece of many of the most prestigious American car collections in the world. A large majority of the super-low mile mint condition examples such as this are already tucked away in high-end collections, so if you have been searching for a perfect ‘AS NEW' Ford GT, there are certainly not many left to choose from. When you consider the gorgeous color combination, the extremely low miles, the extensive original paperwork, and the perfect ‘mint showroom condition' of this particular car, I can safely say that you will be hard pressed to find a more perfect example of a Ford GT for your sports car collection.
