Sedan Delivery Wagons have always been quite popular in the classic car world, but I have rarely seen one that truly grabs and holds my attention. However, when this amazing vehicle rolled off of the transport truck, my jaw simply hit the floor!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster Sedan Delivery Wagon, created by Tom Valiquette @ Tom’s Classy Custom in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This vehicle is an absolute show-stopper folks! Tom has built some of the most amazing street rods that I have ever seen, and when I found out about this wagon, I just knew that it had to be pretty special. Designed and built for a client who basically gave Tom an open ticket to create a one-of-a-kind wagon that would not only take home First Place awards, but one that could also be driven and enjoyed to the fullest. Well, I can safely say that Tom hit it out of the park! Over 1,200 man-hours were spent building this machine, and the final results are nothing short of breath-taking!

The project all started w/ an all original 1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster Sedan Delivery Wagon, that was in pretty good condition from the get go. The entire body was completely stripped down & sand-blasted, and then the full frame-off rotisserie restoration began. All of the original steel body panels were massaged to perfection, leaving precise gaps throughout, and the bumper guards were shaved for a much cleaner look. All new glass was installed, new weatherstripping & rubber, new American Autowire wiring harness, new windshield wiper mechanisms, etc., everything used on this build was ‘brand new’ throughout. The gas tank was relocated from behind the seat to the rear of the vehicle, and a Hagan hideaway fuel door was installed. 1950 Chevrolet LED taillights were installed as well. The body was then lathered in several coats of Dupont Jungle Fever Green (base-coat/clear-coat), which was the perfect choice for this vehicle, as it literally explodes in the sunlight. The grille, front & rear bumpers, headlight bezels, and all of the stainless-steel trim was polished to perfection and have a mirror-like finish. She has a beautiful stance, and rides on chrome-plated Foose Legend forged-aluminum wheels (18” x 8” on the rear & 17” x 7” up front), wrapped w/ Toyo Ultra Z900 Pro-Touring tires (225/50/R18 on the rear & 205/50/R17 up front). You can walk around this vehicle a hundred times and you will not find a bad angle. The undercarriage is very nicely detailed, featuring a Heidts front suspension package, Heidts leaf-spring kit in the rear, and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, which all help this wagon drive beautifully.
