If you are searching for a highly unique Tri-Five Chevy that will separate you from all of the others out there, well the car you are looking at right now should put a huge smile on your face!

Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Pro-Street Custom, finished in Tuxedo Black wrapped around a beautiful custom red leather bucket seat interior! This ’55 Chevy reminds me of a modern-day version of Bob Falfa’s car from the smash-hit motion picture ‘American Graffiti’. Great looks are one thing, but this mean machine backs it up w/ incredible performance! She was built Marc Williams @ Moonshadow Speed Shop in Plano, Texas in 2016, but lots of mechanical upgrades were just completed over the last month or so. Let me start by saying that lots of time & effort went into creating this gorgeous ’55 Chevy. The body is super-straight all of the way around the car and all of the body panels line up beautifully w/ precise gaps. The Tuxedo Black base-coat/clear-coat paint has been meticulously buffed & polished, leaving it w/ a lustrous mirror-like shine. All of the chrome & stainless trim is in ‘excellent’ condition throughout. This is not a trailer queen, but rather a drag-race style Pro-Street machine that was meant to be driven & enjoyed, and she will certainly impress everyone who lays eyes on her! She also has a perfect stance, sitting on Weld Racing Rodlite wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires (31 x 18.00 x R15LT on the rear & 26 x 8.00 x R15LT up front). You can walk around this car a hundred times and you will not find a bad angle. This Pro-Street Chevy has an ‘ominous’ appearance that is second to none. The body sits on the original frame which has been modified for stability & strength, including a back-half job on the rear section, which has also been narrowed & tubbed. Other chassis features include: ladder-bar rear suspension, Ride Tech fully-adjustable coilover shocks w/ Hyperco springs, new upper & lower control arms, Moog tie rod assembly, new rear struts, rack & pinion steering, Magnaflow mufflers w/ electric cut-out exhaust system, Aerospace Components front disc brakes, etc. (please see undercarriage photos).

Open the driver’s door and you will find a gorgeous custom red leather interior that absolutely pops against the Tuxedo Black paint. Interior features include: fully adjustable red leather bucket seats w/ matching red leather rear seat, custom red leather door panels w/ bowtie logos, custom red leather headliner, custom red leather dash pad, painted dashboard w/ billet dash inserts, full set of (6) Dolphin gauges, chrome tilt-steering column w/ Grant 4-spoke billet steering wheel wrapped in red leather, billet door handles, billet window cranks, billet pedals, Hurst shifter w/ 6-speed shift knob, & black seat belts. This beautiful red leather interior is extremely comfortable & highly functional in every way. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc. are in perfect working order. The trunk area is completely finished in matching red leather and looks absolutely sensational!

Now, let’s get to the heart of this beast, shall we?

Pop open the hood and you will find a custom-built 505ci big-block motor created for competition & speed, dressed up in semi-gloss black valve covers & matching Streamline air cleaner assembly. Features include: Merlin II big-block, Brodix aluminum heads, Crane solid-lifter camshaft, 1.7 aluminum roller rockers, Edelbrock Air-Gap 2.0 intake manifold, Holley 950cfm Street HP double-pump carburetor, MSD 6AL electronic ignition, MSD coil, red MSD plug wires, custom stainless steel headers, external oil filter, Wilwood master brake cylinder, custom-built aluminum radiator, billet overflow reservoir, etc. The massive motor is linked to a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission, which feeds power to the 12-bolt rear-end w/ asphalt-shredding 4.56 gears. The instant that you fire her up, you will realize that this machine is all business and is most certainly not for the feint-of-heart. She was created to get you from stoplight to stoplight as quickly as possible, and did I mention that she sounds incredible? When you pull into your local coffee shop or car show and open up the electric cut-out exhaust system, you will watch everyone’s jaw drop when she really starts to breathe.

This is not some cookie-cutter Tri-Five Chevy, but rather an alpha dog that will stand out from the crowd anywhere you go. In arguably the most beautiful color combination and built for hair-raising performance, it would be very hard to find a more beautiful or fierce looking 1955 Chevrolet anywhere @ any price. Again, if you have been searching for a unique Tri-Five Chevy that will set you apart from all of the others, you will want to take a long hard look at this 1955 Chevrolet 150 Pro-Street Custom!
