If you have been searching for a gorgeous Tri-Five Chevy that is nice enough to win ‘First Place’ trophies at any automotive event that you decide to enter, but also one that you can truly drive & enjoy to the fullest, I think we have just the car for you!
‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely beautiful 1956 Chevrolet 210 Del Ray Club Coupe! Finished in its factory correct Matador Red (Code 697) & White wrapped around a beautiful factory correct Black & Ivory Vinyl interior (Code 567), this ’56 Chevy has all of the right stuff! The bodywork & paint are simply stellar, w/ super straight panels, precise body gaps, and brilliant shiny paint, that will make any classic Chevy fanatic smile ear to ear! All of the chrome & stainless-steel trim is in show quality condition throughout, and all of the glass is new and spotless. From the T3 headlights up front to the finned taillights in back, this car is absolutely gorgeous! She also has a perfect stance, and rolls on 15” Cragar SS wheels, wrapped w/ 15” BF Goodrich TA Radial tires (P235/60/R15 on the rear & P215/60/R15 up front). The original chassis & undercarriage components are super clean & tidy as well (see photos).
When you open the driver’s door, you will find a gorgeous factory correct black & ivory vinyl interior (Code 567), featuring the original painted dash, original gauges, original chrome dash insert, tilt-steering column, 15” retro steering wheel (original is 18”), column-mounted Mooneyes tachometer, floor-mounted Hurst shifter, Vintage Air Mark IV under-dash Air-Conditioning system, and beautiful black carpeting throughout. All of the gauges, tachometer, lights, blinkers, air-conditioning, etc. are in perfect working order. This classic interior is super comfortable, fully functional, and absolutely beautiful in every way. The trunk area is fully restored as well, and features the correct trunk mat, spare tire & correct jack assembly.
Powering this beautiful ’56 Chevy is an original 265ci V8 motor (suffix code FB), that was completely rebuilt during the restoration, and features aluminum finned Corvette valve covers, aluminum dual-quad intake manifold, dual Carter 6-1271 4-barrel carburetors, Wilwood power brake booster, power steering, polished AC compressor, custom black radiator w/ 16” 4-blade fan, and an original style AC Delco yellow cap battery. Originally equipped w/ a 3-speed manual transmission on the column, during the restoration they decided to replace the 3-speed w/ a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission on the floor, which I think was an excellent choice and makes for a much better driving experience. She fires up instantly even when cold, settles into a nice smooth idle, and she runs, drives, shifts, & performs beautifully in every way. There are no rattles, vibrations or unwanted noises whatsoever, and she is one of the smoothest driving Tri-Five Chevys that I’ve ever driven.
Again, if you have been searching for a gorgeous Tri-Five Chevrolet that runs & drives as good as it looks, you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1956 Chevrolet 210 Del Ray Club Coupe!
