C10 Cheyenne Super Custom

SOLD!

If you are a vintage Chevrolet truck fanatic, then you will want to take a close hard look at this beautiful custom pickup!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super Custom shortbed pickup truck, the recipient of complete nut & bolt rotisserie restoration, that was built not only for appearance, but for driving and enjoying to the fullest. The truck was in excellent original condition before the restoration/build, which always makes the process much easier. All of the original body panels are laser straight all of the way around the truck, and the panel gaps are absolutely precise throughout. She was then lathered in the factory correct two-tone paint combination of Classic Bronze (Code 522) & White, which looks excellent on this truck. All of the chrome, bumpers, grille, etc., as well as all of the stainless steel trim is brand new and in show quality condition. All of the glass is brand new as well, and has been ceramic coated w/ a medium/dark tint. The bed area is dressed up beautifully featuring custom-made high-gloss cherry wood w/ stainless-steel slats, which truly compliments the bronze & white exterior. The Newton Aero flush gas cap resides towards to rear of the bed. This ’72 Chevy shortbed pickup has a perfect lowered stance, and sits on 20” Billet Specialties Speedway Titanium wheels (20” x 10”), wrapped w/ Cosmo MuchoMacho All-Season High Performance radial tires (275/40/ZR20 on the rear & 245/45/ZR20 up front). You can walk around this truck a hundred times and it looks absolutely perfect from every angle. The undercarriage is beautifully detailed as well, w/ all new custom-built suspension by Early Classic, including new shocks, coils, custom lowering kit, front disc brakes, fuel cell etc. All components used for this build were brand new, w/ no used parts used whatsoever, including all of the bolts & hardware. Please look closely at the undercarriage photos to see how nicely everything was done.

Open the driver’s door, and you will find a beautiful black & white houndstooth interior that is very close to bone stock in appearance, but w/ lots of modern upgrades of course. Interior features include: original houndstooth bench seat, white door panels w/ walnut woodgrain inserts, new black dash pad, walnut woodgrain dash insert w/ new factory-style gauges, tilt-steering column w/ Budnik ‘Split Grip’ steering wheel, walnut woodgrain glove box door, ‘Vintage Air’ air conditioning & heat, Custom Autosound AM/FM/USB receiver w/ 6” speakers in kick panels, (2) sets of black seat belts, and black loop carpeting throughout. Inside the glove box you will find the factory original ‘options list’ decal, as well as the controller for the Holley Terminator Z MPFI fuel injection system. Again, the interior looks very much factory stock in appearance, which I actually prefer over most of the heavily customized interiors that you’ll find on these 1968-1972 Chevrolet pickups.

Pop open the hood and inside the beautifully detailed engine bay resides the 6.0L LQ9 LS motor, featuring LS ignition coil covers, Holley Terminator X electronic fuel injection system, Holley LS modular mid-rise intake manifold kit & mid-rise plenum base adaptor, Holley Drive-By-Wire throttle body harness, Holley mid-mount accessory drive kit, power steering, power brakes, custom heavy-duty aluminum radiator w/ dual 12” electronic fans, etc. The motor is linked to a 4L65E 4-speed automatic transmission, which feeds power to the 12-bolt rear-end w/ 3.07 gears. This pickup fires up instantly w/ a flick of the wrist, idles perfectly, and runs, drives and handles beautifully in every way. The power steering & power brakes make driving around town effortless, and when you get her out on the highway, she tracks straight & true. It is an absolute BLAST to drive, and gets more attention that you could ever want!

Whether you are looking for a classic Chevrolet pickup that can win ‘First Place’ awards @ any national level automotive event, or simply one that can be driven & enjoyed to the fullest w/out worrying about reliability, this gorgeous 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super Custom shortbed pickup fits the bill!
