This gorgeous Grand National has been in Southern Utah its entire life, is in 100% original-stock form throughout w/ no alterations whatsoever, & has never been abused, raced, or otherwise mistreated. She has been meticulously maintained & cared for since day one when purchased brand new @ Tony M. Coury Buick in Mesa, Arizona.
This 1987 Buick Grand National came loaded from the factory w/ options such as: 3.8 Liter Turbocharged V6 SFI motor w/ Intercooler, Automatic Overdrive Transmission, Limited-Slip Differential, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel, Inside Hood Release, Dual Remote O/S Mirrors, Electric Door Locks, Power Windows, 6-Way Power Seat (Driver Side), Electronic Cruise-Control, Tilt-Steering Column, Theft Deterrent System, Delco-GM Cassette Tape AM/FM Stereo Radio w/ Seek & Scan Auto-Reverse & Clock, Concert Sound Speaker System, Automatic Power Antenna, Electric Trunk Release, Electric Rear Window Defogger, Soft-Ray Tinted Glass, 15″ Aluminum Wheels, and on & on! Again, this Grand National is 100% original including all of its factory original Black paint, & has never been hit or been in any sort of accident whatsoever. The original gray cloth interior is as nice as the exterior, w/ all of the electronics, gauges, lights, blinkers, etc, in perfect working order. Under the hood, everything appears factory stock w/ a nicely detailed engine bay. She starts, runs, drives & performs beautifully and is a blast to drive! In 1987, Buick engineers improved the 3.8 liter V6 turbocharged engine & they were able to up the horsepower to 245hp versus the previous 235hp. Torque also increased by 25 to 355 Lbs./Ft. Torque. The Buick Grand National was faster than any American built car built in 1987, period. The Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, & even the mighty Chevrolet Corvette had no choice but to treat it with respect!
These cars were sinister when they were new, & even today seeing one of these blown Buicks prowling the streets will fill your heart with excitement. The only car that could consistently beat it was its twin brother – the GNX, and those cars have hit the six-figure category!
