The recipient of a complete frame-off restoration, this original 1947 Ford Panel Truck has been in the dry Utah climate its entire life, & was actually in great condition before the extensive restoration process began. The original body was removed from the frame, fully dismantled & completely sand blasted. Any deformities were removed & welded, w/ no bondo used whatsoever! The original grill & other stainless components were straightened & re-chromed. All new glass was installed as well. This original 1947 Ford Panel Truck was finished in period correct Vermillion Red & Gloss Black, which looks simply outstanding! The body & paint work was done to professional levels & the final result is spectacular! The undercarriage is fully detailed & restored throughout & features a custom-built aluminum fuel tank (Undercarriage photos coming soon).

Open the driver's door and you will find a beautiful custom Tan & Black two-tone interior, built for comfort & functionality! Dynomat was used throughout for a nice quiet ride. Interior features include: painted dash w/ a full set of (5) gauges wrapped w/ a billet insert, fully adjustable custom bucket seats w/ Power Driver Seat, Power Windows, Ididit Chrome Tilt-Steering Column w/ Turn Signals, Custom Wood Steering Wheel, Vintage Air Conditioning & Heat, custom AM/FM/CD sound system w/ (4) speakers, Electric Fuel Door, & Electric Parking Brake. The entire rear cargo area is fully finished in matching Tan & Black vinyl w/ Berber carpeting throughout! Again, this is a fully functional, yet beautiful interior w/ all of the creature comforts that are needed! Now, let's open the hood!

 The entire drivetrain is from a 1995 Mercury Cougar, which consists of a 4.6 Liter V8 linked to a 4R70W 4-Speed automatic transmission. The frame is all-original but has been well reinforced for the modern driveline. With the Mustang II Front End w/ Power Steering, she performs beautifully in every way, and is a BLAST to drive! She runs nice & cool, even in 110 degree summer heat. This '47 Ford Panel Truck was restored to drive from coast to coast if need be, & reliability was of the utmost concern. This is a classic truck that can be driven daily if you chose to do so. She sits on Billet Wheels wrapped w/ new radial tires, slightly larger in the rear of course, and has the perfect stance.
